Changes in protection levels are reported in feeds, but all is noted is e.g., a page is now protected. And as not one little word about what kind of protection is given, the reader must go to the page itself to learn the details.
The exact RSS I saw was 已保護"[[聯絡]]" "Already protected "[[聯絡]]" 新頁面 "New page" New page? That is no new page! And due to bug 19391 I can't show you the English. OK, limit=2 will bypass that bug, so we can see the English via wget \ 'http://transgender-taiwan.org/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&feed=rss&limit=2&uselang=en' \ -O -| ascii2uni -a Q| sed 's/&[a-z]\+=/@@@/g'| # avoid ascii2uni Segmentation fault on URLs ascii2uni -a Q we see >
>
聯絡
>
>

protected "[[聯絡]]"
>
New page

>
>
>
>

This is similar to bug 14901 I'd say?
