Halló! In order to follow maintenance in the MediaWiki namespace the option &namespace=8 would be very helpfull. This parameter ( &namespace=foo ) is already avalable at [[Special:Contributions/Gangleri]]. The enhancement would a) help maler wiki's to follow the develepment of larger wiki's b) help maintaining the sister projects Best regards Reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
[Simplifying summary to reflect actual request] As for this helping smaller wikis to "track" each other's MediaWiki namespaces, it's an interesting idea, but I think in general we need a more joined-up policy on what we consider a "master" version of the interface, how that "master" is updated, and how to copy from it. Presently, we have a number of mostly out-of-date LanguageXX.php files, some of which have more up-to-date translations on various wikis, and some of which need updating to reflect errors or changes in the English interface [which is generally the one developer's interact with]. Still, I can see the usefulness of a namespace filter for Recentchanges, for this and other things, although I'm not sure whether it counts as "high priority".
