For example, at Meta, when someone edits User:COIBot/XWiki/dexrel@ohchr.org it links to http://ohchr.org/wiki/User:COIBot/XWiki/dexrel in their contribs.

This transformation on links should apply only in the user rights log, and perhaps other logs (CA log maybe?).

Apparently Meta uses a faulty javascript for this.

The software should do that itself.
