It would be nice if more of the summary text was shown.  Currently I can see about 5 words in the summary box which is useless.  Why not show the whole summary or at least a couple lines.

Because then it wouldn't fit in an easy-to-see list. If you want to see the whole comment (which may be many paragraphs long), then drill down into the revision...

One possible change would be making the extract length a little more dynamic based on the available space. Something based on CSS overflow *might* have some reasonable display. Worth considering.
