Description Chris 2008-10-10 01:35:42 UTC
I'm not sure of the terminology, but why does the search box not have focus when pages are loaded? I can't be sure but I would think most people are either searching or reading, and reading usually ends up in clicking a link or searching again.

Why do I have to click on the search box to search? It should already be the focus, I can't see any other part of the page that should have it. And currently, there is no focus set, hitting tab highlights the address bar.

I think if Google didn't have the search box as the initial focus, it wouldn't have taken off like it did, heh-heh exaggerating.

PS. I couldn't find this request, very hard to figure that stuff out here, surprised there isn't just a forum or somehthing..
