Two parameters are available to the default rollback summary, [[MediaWiki:Revertpage]] -- the name of the user being reverted, and the name of the previous author of the page. It would be useful if the 'summary' parameter that can be added to a rollback URL was parsed in the same way, making the parameters available. Assisted editing tools need to use their own summary in order to append a string identifying the tool, but currently in doing this they lose the information about the previous author of the page that is available in the default summary, and sometimes have to make an extra Web request in order to retrieve it.
It does already. Closing as INVALID, since this feature already exists.
Ah, so it does. I was testing on an old version of MediaWiki, silly me.
