Some articles belong to a series of related categories with minimal name changes. It would be useful in these cases to collapse the display of these categories. Two proposals are made here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Proposal:_collapse_related_categories 1) Replace the link to the categories with a single link to their parent category. Clicking on the link causes a list to expand showing the individual categories. 2) Render the category links as a run-on series of truncated links, such as "History of X / Y / Z", where X Y and Z lead to the individual category pages.
