Hi all, Here is the error message I get when I try to edit an article to add a comment. this must be somewhat as a bug or may be I'm wrong in the use of wikipedia. " From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function "ExternalStoreDB::store". MySQL returned error "1030: Got error 136 from storage engine (10.0.2.107)". " If this may help.... Here is the link of the article : " http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Easter_egg_(media)&action=edit§ion=3 " Here is the addition I tried do make : " Another famous example of what could be qualified as "hardware Easter egg" would be the cover of the Amiga 1000, where you can find the names of the more important members of the team that had worked to the design of the Amiga. (picture to be added) The Amiga 1000 also contains numerous software Easter eggs with at least one quite vindicative regarding Commodore, the compagny that bought the 'original' Amiga corp, finalized the Amiga 1000 and sold it. "
Thanks a lot (I'm a newbee on wikipedia submitting additions so may I do soimething wrong) Regards Hervé Warin
Please feal free to drop me a mail explaining how I should do Thanks a lot
I received exactly the same error message perhaps an hour ago when trying to edit this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saxe_v._State_College_Area_School_District I can now edit that article, as well as the Easter Egg article. Perhaps someone has fixed it and not posted that fact yet; perhaps someone has fixed it as a side effect of something else; perhaps it's an intermittent problem. Other information that may help: * I got the error whether logged in or logged out. * I got the error regardless of the content of the edit. I tried making my desired changes; adding the word "test"; and blanking the page. All failed. * I got the error when I tried to undo the most recent edit. * I did not get the error when I tried editing a couple of other pages. Correct me if I'm wrong: shouldn't this bug be of severity "Major"? Thanks.
Fixed for now.
