Description Danny 2008-08-03 02:41:08 UTC
Users should be able to search within page histories. This would be very useful for users who want to track down vandalism or locate pieces of information that have been removed from articles.

Of course, allowing users to search such a large portion of the database would consume a lot of resources, so the search should be limited to a certain number of pages at once.

The Diffindexer (https://github.com/whym/diffindexer) in combination with
Wikihadoop (https://github.com/whym/wikihadoop) offers exactly this
functionality.
