These should return true if and only if pages named "Image" and "Media", respectively, exist.

Do they?

Yes, it's something I ran into as well.

The trunk version of pfunc has this bug when combined with 1.12, however it works fine with 1.13.

The 1.12 branch of pfunc works fine with 1.12 however. So I adopted using the branched version for 1.12, and the trunk version with trunk.

I expect it has something to do with new code. I believe it was tweaked to check for images rather than pages (which does make some logical sense) but the backend may have changed a bit.

Current stable version is 1.13. I think this issue should be marked resolved, if it does not occur in 1.13 or 1.14alpha.

Closing as RESOLVED FIXED.

There used to be image detection issues with #ifexist and Media: / File:, but as far as I'm aware, all of these have been resolved (at least to the extent that they no longer return false all the time).

Please open a new bug if there are new issues.
