Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Comment 1 Mikko Silvonen 2008-05-17 04:57:26 UTC
I was told that my pywikipedia-based interwiki bot marks sighted versions as unsighted and vice versa. Is this related to the caching problems?

An English-language summary of the new feature and its open problems would be very useful for interwiki bot owners... Or do we already have one?

According to it has worked at some time in the past, so something changed after that date.

FTR: Apart from SilvonenBot I noticed several other bots removing flags, and among the [ request for new rights] there are several requests concerning bots. So it seems not to be a problem with this individual bot but either the bot software or the wiki software.

I don't know if there is anything to fix in pywikipedia, but I submitted this in its bug tracker, too:

According to the wikibots-l mailing list, there was a bug in pywikipedia after all, but it didn't occur with older FlaggedRevs versions:
