The template page: http://ksh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Babel-user-lang-kat-und in the Wikipedia of Ripuarian languages shows both the 1=, and the #default= variant selection, although there should only the default be shown. I have unsuccessfully tried many ways to avoid this, but since, when called for transclusion, the template behaves as intended, I finally left it the way it is. Yet, the template page itself seems to be wrong. I was unable to spot my own fault, if there is one. (Subjective priority and severity of this issue are low, but since it *may* indicate a more serious problem, maybe a parser bug, I decided to file it as normal priority)
Bug 5678 might be related.
Yeah, definitely bug 5678. Parameter 1 is replaced by switch case 1, and then the default case is returned with switch case 1 substituted for {{{1}}}.
