Hi. I proposed[1] to activate an Alias in the German Wikipedia for easy shortcuts. WP:Foobar should lead to the page Wikipedia:Foobar (even if there is no page WP:Foobar with a redirect) This already works in the English Wikipedia, however Raymond told me that it had to be activated in each project first. In a mini-RFC, 15 users supported this idea and no one objected[2]. There are no articles that begin with WP:, which could have been affected. Therefor I request that this feature is activated in the German Wikipedia as well :-) Happy New Year, [[User:Church of emacs]] [1] German: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:VV#Weiterleitung_von_WP:_nach_Wikipedia: [2] German: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:FzW#Kleines_Meinungsbild:_Einrichtung_von_.C2.BBWP:.C2.AB_als_Alias_des_Wikipedia-Namensraumes
Fixed. Contrary to what you said, there were pages in the WP: range. They have been moved to a new location. Some of them got --DUP or ----DUP suffixes. Those need to be cleaned up manually.
Thank you. Small misunderstanding: What I meant was, that there are no ''articles'' that begin with WP:. Of course there are ''normal pages'' that redirect to the Wikipedia namespace. I will request speedy-delete for all DUPs.
