Description S Page 2007-10-14 09:23:37 UTC
If you bring up a tooltip for a Property:Mass on ontoworld.org, the many conversions don't fit in the nifty, handsome tooltip bubble. It shows 4 lines out of 7.

A scrollbar appears but I can't figure out how to focus it or activate it.

This happens in both Firefox 3 alpha and MSIE 7 at every text zoom.

This problem is deeply integrated into the tooltip code, and we have not yet found a nice solution. A general suggestions would be to use "display units" to restrict the displayed conversion. I think SMW should also limit the lines in the conversion tooltips to 4, so that only the first 4 conversions are shown in the tooltip (the rest ist still in the factbox).
Comment 2 Markus Krötzsch 2009-08-01 18:01:41 UTC
SMW now limits the number of conversions that are shown, so the bug does not occur any more. (Frankly, I also have not seen many cases where so many unit conversions were actually used in a real application of SMW.)
