Description Howard Cheng 2007-07-03 06:09:42 UTC
It would be a nice enhancement if there were a way to edit the last section of a page, no matter how many there were, without knowing ahead of time what the section number is. This would be very useful for scripts that add to log pages when the pages get really long. For example:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Possibly_unfree_images&action=edit&section=last

A syntax like this would make it possible to programatically (via Javascript) to open the very last section for editing, thus conserving bandwidth (downloading and uploading) when a page gets long.
