Since it is at the time a major effort to find out from which user a passage of an article originated, it would be great to have a new special page for each article that contains the same text as the article but links all text to the respective version of the article where it first appeared. That way, the desired information would be two or three clicks away, rather than 20 or more. For the overview, I would suggest to make the hyperlinks look like wikilinks, even though they aren't, maybe with different hyperlink color. Hovering over hyperlinks would indicate passages that have been entered within a single edit. Clicking would unveil the editing user and his original intentions.
