Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

When I install beta 1.3 in local (easy php) it's OK but
on my web site the install don't work. After the page
with enter setting, when click ok I have nothing. The
page load but not appear and the config setting is not
create.

In error save in /config I have :

[03-Jun-2004 05:42:31] PHP Warning: Cannot modify
header information - headers already sent by (output
started at
/home/courses/public_html/v3/config/index.php:30) in
/home/courses/public_html/v3/languages/Language.php on
line 1946

To install I must install in local, on my web site
install 1.2.6, copy local file 1.3 (not config) and
copy database. It's seem perfect, but I prefer inform
you with this problem.

----------
MediaWiki 1.3.0beta4 installation

Please include all of the lines below when reporting
installation problems.
Checking environment...

    * WARNING: PHP 4.3.2 or higher is recommended. Older
versions from 4.1.x up may work but are not actively
supported. PHP 4.3.1 ok
    * PHP server API is apache; ok, using pretty URLs
(index.php/Page_Title)
    * Have XML / Latin1-UTF-8 conversion support.
    * PHP's memory_limit is 20M. If this is too low,
installation may fail!
    * Have zlib support; enabling output compression.
    * Found GD graphics library built-in, image thumbnailing
will be enabled if you enable uploads.
    * Installation directory: /www/htdocs/eclwiki/130b
    * Script URI path: /130b

The same for me.
MediaWiki 1.3.2 installation

Checking environment...

    * PHP 4.3.4: ok
    * Warning: PHP's register_globals option is enabled. MediaWiki will work
correctly, but this setting increases your exposure to potential security
vulnerabilities in PHP-based software running on your server. You should disable
it if you are able.
    * PHP server API is cgi; using ugly URLs (index.php?title=Page_Title)
    * Have XML / Latin1-UTF-8 conversion support.
    * PHP is configured with no memory_limit.
    * Have zlib support; enabling output compression.
    * Found GD graphics library built-in, image thumbnailing will be enabled if
you enable uploads.
    * Installation directory: /home/www/bienne.idohost.com/wiki
    * Script URI path: /wiki

If you are getting a blank page after a v1.3.x install but the wiki works, try
the unreviewed patch in bug 736 - http://bugzilla.wikipedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=736

If the wiki is not working at all after the v1.3.x install, please provide more
platform details.
Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2004-12-05 21:01:59 UTC
Please test with 1.4beta.
Comment 5 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2005-03-26 20:27:21 UTC
more than 3 months without any update. If original poster
see this notification, please try lastest stable version
(1.4.0 as of now).
