I had only seen this occur on the one page on Wikipedia. The image link on this page was rendered as a red link (apparently a bad image URL) prior to the update at 06:47, 27 May 2006. It looked OK on May 21 when the image link was added to this page. Reloading the page and refreshing the cache did not provide any relief. Actually, I did an edit and preview without any changes and the image also linked correctly. Unfortunately, I appear to have made it go away by making a minor change to the page and resaving it; the older version viewed from the history does not exhibit the problem. This seems to be an intermittent problem and the circumstances that trigger the problem appear to be outside of my control. This is the image code: [[Image:ThomasRobertsFerguson23.jpg|thumb|right|Thomas Roberts Ferguson <br> Source: Library and Archives Canada]]
This was due to a temporary bug, Use ?action=purge to clear affected pages or edit them.
