Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-01-13 20:01:59 UTC

This bug relates to titles mentioned at
Bug 4598: Order of title recognition and bold / italic rendering should be reversed

Exact search for *Gt* etc. should be possible regardles how google search works.

The actual results return false positives. The bug's url should identify / find
de:user:Gangleri/tests/Gt as soon as search indexes are updated.

best regards reinhardt user:gangleri

more test cases are available at
Comment 2 lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-01-29 22:35:50 UTC

search *excluding* the "Talk" namespace

shows *more* results (Ergebnisse 1–20 von 88)
then search *including* the "Talk" namespace
(Ergebnisse 1–20 von 56)

How does this bug relate to
Bug 1036: Search doesn't handle special characters correctly
marked as FIXED

best regards reinhardt user:gangleri

This isn't something that can be done very efficiently, and is at best a niche issue. Toolserver tools should be able to take care of this adequately for now.
