A {{{Template parameter}}} is added as a (broken) link to [[Template:Template parameter]] in the links list. If the same parameter is used often, a Template therefore shows up in [[Special:Wantedpages]] without actually being used.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80 ***
The fact that this is described as a duplicate of 80 makes clear to me that it is not understood what I'm saying here. What I mean is: Suppose Template:Blabla has as its content: This page is just some blabla about {{{subject}}} Then the links table will state that Template:Blabla links to Template:Subject. And if there are many of this kind of page, Template:Subject will appear on the 'most wanted pages' list, even though it is used nowhere at all.
For an example of this bug being at work, see http://nl.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Speciaal:Whatlinkshere&target=Sjabloon:Taxon
Fixed in HEAD, not in REL1_3
This wasn't fixed in HEAD, but it should be now.
This seems fixed to me, based on the sample templates: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Whatlinkshere/Sjabloon:Taxobox_species_entry http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Whatlinkshere/Sjabloon:Taxon
