It would be convenient to have a rollback button at the top of the special:history page. Presently, you have to find the user's contribs log to do a rollback.
A rollback link should show on the diff page, which is itself directly visible from history. You should generally hit diffs before reverting to confirm that it's vandalism.
Not necessarily. If you are familiar with a page because you visit it daily, you can easily see at the page itself if/when it has been compromised.
And if the damage was done two edits ago instead of the most recent edit? Your rollback may then be reversing a legitimate edit, and the vandalism remains in place...
The request was for a rollback button at the TOP, thus only reversing the latest edit (or multiple edits by one person) like it does now.

This concern is, I think, obviated by Werdna's lovely new "autoadd edit summary for probable vandalism" thing.
