As anonymous user I got a page with the current content, but the date of "This page was last modified on ..." was not from the current, but from a later version.
An related, an easier to reproduce issue, is when I'm edit my userpage, click on save and the now content is shown but the date under the site ist not from the current version.

&action=purge resolve both issues, so it look's like an cache issue
