Description Matthew Gill 2007-05-13 11:53:48 UTC
As it seems to be a problem for many mediawiki users, the mass deletion/purge of
unused files and/or uncategorized images would be extremely helpful in the
cleanup of a Wiki. Although the mediawiki mantra seems to be to keep all
revisions and history, for administration and space-concerns for users it would
be helpful. In fact, mass anything would be helpful seeing as you always deal
with a lot of pages.

In general, it still requires human involvement to evaluate "unused images" and
"uncategorized images" to check that deleting them won't affect external uses,
shared repositories, etc. I'm not sure this is something we need to include in
the core.
