Description Rémi Kaupp 2007-03-17 17:12:27 UTC
When searching for an article title using Special:Search, redirects often appear
before their target article, even though the target article corresponds exactly
to the search pattern.

Example : when searching on fr.wikipedia for the word "sous-marin", the search
results are :
1/ "Sous-marins" (100 % relevance) (redirect to "Sous-marin")
3/ "Sous-marin" (96.2 % relevance) (actual article)
URL :
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=sous-marin&fulltext=Rechercher

I would think that the search results should output target articles, possibly
including a note on the redirect which leads to this result.
