Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2004-11-12 12:16:13 UTC
Dear friends,

Example links to generate http://test.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?
title=Special:Allpages&from=Gangleri&namespace=2
(respectively 3) translate correctly whenever "Special" is used
and fail whereever {{ns:Special}} is used.

Then they translate to:
http://test.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?
title=Special:Allpages&namespace=2/
(respectively 3).

To my knowledge the behaviour of {{ns:User}} and {{ns:User_Talk}}
changed already. See
http://test.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Gangleri/tests#04:53.2C_1
1_Nov_2004_.28UTC.29 .

Another question is if ALL {{ns:xx}} variables should be evaluated the same
way. If they would be evaluated immediately this would allow "portability" of
signatures, templates etc. between projects. I meen no adjustments of
all "those words".

See more ideas about this at [[:en:User talk:IMSoP#appendix 1]]

Both examples you list on test look the same to me now. Has this been fixed already?

No examples, summary incomprehensible. Resolving as INVALID.
