Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description S Page 2006-11-14 11:38:35 UTC
All queries of the smw_specialprops table look for a particular kind of property
e.g. SMW_SP_HAS_TYPE, yet property_id is not indexed.
Comment 1 Markus Krötzsch 2006-11-15 14:36:04 UTC
True. Since the number of special properties is always limited, one might also
have seperate tables for different types (or collections) of properties right
away. Since both this and the indexing is a change to the DB scheme, I would
prefer to wait with this optimisation until after the next release (which will
not change the DB).
Comment 2 Markus Krötzsch 2007-04-17 17:27:44 UTC
A suitable default index was added in SMW0.7alpha.
