I like to remove redirects from my watchlist, and it'd be nice to be able to
spot them without having to follow the link.

Modified SVN HEAD. On the editing page, redirects are now wrapped in <span
class="watchlistredir"></span>. Add formatting to this in your custom CSS
subpage as desired.
