Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Erdal Ronahi 2006-10-15 00:15:03 UTC
Some of the country flags that we include from Commons are not displayed. Only
SVG images are affected. The example "Flag of Iran.svg" is here:

It belongs to the article about Iran:

The link that is shown links correctly to the image on commons. But it is not
Comment 1 Rotem Liss 2006-10-15 11:12:16 UTC
Someone added [[ku:Image:Tuerkei Flagge Konstruktion.png]], [[ku:Image:Flag of
Turkey (alternate).svg]], [[ku:Image:Flag of Turkey.svg]] and [[ku:Image:Flag of
Iran.svg]] to [[ku:MediaWiki:Bad image list]]. They shouldn't be added to there
(there is no reason to forbid the display of flags), but it's not a bug which
should be handled here. Please ask a sysop in kuwiki to remove these flags from
the list.
Comment 2 Erdal Ronahi 2006-10-15 14:22:20 UTC
Ok, that explains the problem. They were put on that list because of an
ultra-massive vandalizm attack with these images. Blacklisting them effectively
discouraged the attackers. I will remove them from the list now. Thanks a lot.
