Description Serguei Trouchelle 2006-09-06 15:15:25 UTC
I run three wiki sites with the same user table, with fixes from Bug 2396.
Information is stored in the same database with table prefixes (different
$wgDBprefix) for every wiki.
I specified top-level domain in $wgCookieDomain, expecting that logging in to
one of wikies will assume logging in to other wikies as well. But $wgDBprefix is
used in cookie, making one-login-for-many-wikies impossible, users still need to
login on every wiki.

Is there any possibility to add shared logins for shared user table wikies?

Sorry, cannot make a patch -- I don't know PHP at all.

From the discussion at bug 57 (e.g., bug 57 comment #2), I get the impression
that the code exists for this somewhere.
