Description Aaron Axelsen 2006-09-06 13:36:11 UTC
I think if there was a way to set the logo url by uploading a file with a
specific name, or having a place to select an uploading image to use as the logo
would be a great feature.

We use wiki's in an instructional enviroment and instructors do not have ssh or
ftp access to the files. If there was an easier way for them to change/add the
wiki logo, it would be a great improvement.

1) Upload the file to the wiki.

2) Check the URL of the uploaded file and copy it to $wgLogo.

3) When you want to change it, just upload a file to the same name as the
original, in-wiki.

If you wanted to eliminate step 2, well, you had to install the wiki to begin
with, didn't you . . . but reopen if you like, in that case.
