Description Borgx 2006-05-05 02:22:17 UTC
Hope this is acceptable. Please provide new variable, {{CURRENTVERSION}} gives
the current MediaWiki software version.

{{CURRENTVERSION}} = 1.6 (for released version)
{{CURRENTVERSION}} = 1.7alpha (r17360) (for svn version)
Comment 1 Rob Church 2006-05-05 02:23:09 UTC
For what purpose?
Comment 2 Borgx 2006-05-05 02:27:21 UTC
Yes it is duplicate to Special:version, just like {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} to
Special:Statistics. I dont know.. for putting the version information in certain
pages?

Rob Church, yes it is a weak argument. Consider this low priority. Thanks.
Comment 3 Rob Church 2006-05-13 17:30:56 UTC
Added in SVN trunk, r14199.
Comment 4 Borgx 2006-08-30 07:49:00 UTC
Hi Rob, thanks for the {{CURRENTVERSION}}, but can you also parse the SVN revision?
Comment 5 Rob Church 2006-08-30 07:52:22 UTC
Shoot me. Shoot me now.

Where applicable, it is now included in the output, as of SVN trunk, r16280. And
as I said, I'd like to be shot now, sir.
