It would be nice to see on [[special:recentchanges]] the difference in size.
On this page you can see: (diff) (hist) . . and so on... What about showing the
number of added/removed characters?
If someone, e.g., adds 100 new characters, it should look like this: (diff)
(hist) (+100) ...
And if somebody deletes 100 characters: (diff) (hist) (-100) ...
On irc://irc.wikimedia.org/en.wikipedia you can see an example of 'my' idea. 
It is possible to locate vandalism much faster.
