Description Helder 2013-06-25 13:42:12 UTC
I'm opening this bug because I think the Disambiguator extension fixes bug 6754, so all we need is getting this on WMF wikis.
Comment 1 Bartosz Dziewoński 2013-06-25 13:48:08 UTC
It's currently live on [[testwiki:]], by the way.
Comment 2 Greg Grossmeier 2013-06-25 19:59:14 UTC
It is also on ENWP (and test2.wikipedia) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Version

Helder: could you tell me which wiki specifically you want this installed on, and, we would need some community consensus to turn it on.
Comment 3 Helder 2013-06-25 22:04:28 UTC
Why would any wiki not want this feature? I could ask for consensus on (some) Portuguese wikis, but I really think this is of interest for anyone.
Comment 4 Bartosz Dziewoński 2013-06-25 23:32:17 UTC
Yeah, this really should just be enabled everywhere per common sense ;) I think a similar (but half-baked) feature exists in MediaWiki core and this is intended to replace it.
Comment 5 Ryan Kaldari 2013-06-28 20:16:03 UTC
Yes, this is intended to be a replacement for the half-baked core feature. Since no one has reported any problems with it on en.wiki, I'll see about enabling it everywhere next week. I'll just need to send an email to the tech-ambassadors list letting everyone know about it.
Comment 6 Greg Grossmeier 2013-06-28 20:20:58 UTC
Thanks Kaldari.

cc'ing Reedy so it is on his radar for deploymemts

cc'ing Howie for MW Product Management reasons (related to a PM for Platform discussion).

Comment 9 Ryan Kaldari 2013-07-09 21:03:10 UTC
It's installed on all the wikis now. I'm about to email the tech-ambassadors list to tell people how to set up the magic word.
