Following the vote here: http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sondaje/Permisiuni_revenire please install the rollback permissions at Romanian Wikipedia. Votes: 5 for / 2 against / 4 abstentions (71,42% support) Thank you, [[w:ro:Utilizator:Romihaitza|Romihaitza]]
Um, what? Sysops already have rollback. Exactly what are you asking us to do with it?
I'm speaking about rollback permissions for another category of users (another usergroup). Not for administrators (sysop) but for other elected users.
Ah, I see. Well that'll have to wait until an improved permissions interface is completed, then.
Of course. As proposition: I sugest that Stewards Make Sysop shoud be enhanced to bureacurats with three usergroups: sysop, bureaucrat and rollback. [Eventually why not bot :-)]
It's in the works.
I know, thank you. We'll wait.
I have also another idea: Since an user from rowiki is steward (I am), I can activate my steward Special:Makesysop at rowiki also untill the new permissions board is finished and if you just install the usergroup at rowiki I can give permissions to users selected by the community.
or - if this is not quite possible - i can use my meta interface if you add that usergroup
Any news about this issue?
There is now an extension in Subversion providing local bureaucrats with the ability to grant/remove rollback rights from a non-sysop user. This would work as a stop-gap measure until the user rights interfaces can be gutted and improved.
Can it be installed here at rowiki?
Or how can it be used?
