{{CURRENTUSER}} or {{CURRENTID}} should be a magic word which returns the name of the current user. Although there is still something comparable, we can type "~~~" into the edit window and we will get a link to the current user's page but this won't enable to jump to a user's page going .../index.php/~~~
You want to link to the current user's user page or talk page? [[Special:Mypage]] and [[Special:Mytalk]] should be your friends. Closing WORKSFORME.
