Description SJ 2004-09-10 17:12:40 UTC
This is a request for an autoupdate script, which will check for new
releases on a central site and update the local Mediawiki installation.

Oh I dont' think this is should be use, in case the release have some fatal
bugs, it'll make your site become unusable (just in case)... manual update is
always necessary. You have to consider the update, which have changed, which
have added, which have removed...

btw, update notification is good, which you can tracking the release @
sourceforge by email...

I'm against this feature...

Site admins can subscribe to the mediawiki release feed:
http://sourceforge.net/export/rss2_projnews.php?group_id=34373

People can probably make their own script for that.
