Description Clayton 2005-12-27 16:22:11 UTC
I have just installed MediaWiki on a Linux server using Apache and MySQL. I have
setup Apache to use SSL (HTTPS) for our site. However, I have noticed that I get
errors sometimes while surfing the site. It acts as though MediaWiki does not have
the functionality built in to support HTTPS. I looked around (as a newbie) to see if
the LocalSettings.php file had a way to specify the protocol as HTTPS but found none.

Does a parameter exist to set the protocol to HTTPS? If not, could consideration be
given for supporting such a feature?
Thanks,
Clayton.

MediaWiki supports being served via HTTPS, this appears to be a configuration
error on your part.

Resolving as INVALID.
