I think this is a duplicate of bug 27157. Please revert if I'm wrong.

Not a duplicate; bug 27157 is about making a stand-alone interactive visual tool to create and edit EasyTimelines, whereas this is specifically about doing it inside VisualEditor (and so not for wikitext users).
