on meta.wikimedia.org, on Special:AggregateGroups[1] some settings have been made that are not reflected on Special:LanguageStats/nl[2] See screenshots for comparison. (at least) two inconsistencies are visible here: A. "Fundraising 2012/Translation/FAQ" is part of aggregate group "Fundraising 2012". However, it is not collapsed by default in "Fundraising 2012" on LanguageStats. B. Three pages starting with "Legal and Community Advocacy/" are part of aggregate group "Legal and Community Advocacy". However, they are not collapsed by default in "Legal and Community Advocacy" on LanguageStats. If my guess is right, this will fix itself in 24 hours. The caching mechanism needs some rethinking.
(In reply to comment #3) > If my guess is right, this will fix itself in 24 hours. Niklas: Did it?
Siebrand / Niklas: Has this fixed itself? (Cannot check myself, no access to Special:AggregateGroups on meta)
Created attachment 11730 [details] New Special:LanguageStats/nl screenshot The problem has never fixed itself, nor after 24 h nor later. Now I've added those pages and a few others to various aggregate groups (the one mentioned in comment 0 doesn't exist any longer), some are displayed correctly and some are not.

I haven't seen indication that this isn't a caching issue. These uncommon cases can now easily be worked around with action=purge improved in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/132399
