Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2005-11-22 08:36:48 UTC
Dear friends,

At http://yi.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=project:Administrators&oldid=6157
the __TOC__ is used in a RTL wiki *but* in a LTR environment.

The item list shows as:

                 1 actual user rights
2 requests for additional user rights
                              3 links
It should be

1 actual user rights
2 requests for additional user rights
3 links

regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

----
*reminder*

If you compare the "header" of the TOC at the reference url you will see
opticaly
אינהאַלט [באַהאַלטן
with an additional "]" at the right

it should display opticaly *always* as
אינהאַלט [באַהאַלטן]

Could this be a browser bug?
Can't understand why <div direction=rtl> doesn't take precedence.
Comment 2 Amir E. Aharoni 2011-05-15 06:04:48 UTC
This is a yet another issue that happens when LTR UI is used in an RTL wiki. Resolving Bug 6100 is the way to go.
Comment 3 Diederik van Liere 2011-11-30 17:06:41 UTC
I am reopening this bug as bug 6100 has been resolved and this still seems to be an issue.
Comment 4 Amir E. Aharoni 2011-12-12 09:54:24 UTC
The right thing to do is to use class="mw-content-ltr" instead of dir="rtl". It's not very obvious, but since 1.18 it's not a bug either.
