Created attachment 10940 [details] screenshot of mixed i18n messages in page rendering. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bruxelles_Java_Masque_Wayang_02_10_2011_06.jpg http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Coxeter_diagram_finite_rank4_correspondence.png http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bruxelles_Java_Masque_Wayang_02_10_2011_06.jpg Seems there is an inconsistency in the i18n messages. As you can see in the attached screenshot, i was looking at the page while logged out, and the error message under the image are presented in german (possibly the last visitor had prefs set to german ?). 09:55 < _Meow> thedj[work]: What German message? 09:55 < Nikerabbit> below the image 09:55 < Nikerabbit> it's in Finnish now It is also in the page source.
MediaWiki 1.20wmf8 (0c716fb) PHP 5.3.2-2wm1 (apache2handler) MySQL 5.1.53-wm-log The reason these images present errors to begin with is bug 32551 btw.
The German text in the screenshot is, in English (currently used on those pages for me), like: The revision #0 of the page named "Coxeter diagram finite rank4 correspondence.png" does not exist. This is usually caused by following an outdated history link to a page that has been deleted. Details can be found in the deletion log. (In reply to comment #1) > The reason these images present errors to begin with is bug 32551 btw. Which is why I don't understand how this is a valid bug: can we mark it as duplicate? Things can't really be expected to work with bug 32551, can they?
Sorry, now I got it; but it's still a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 39663 ***
