Description Arie ten Cate 2005-11-05 20:24:29 UTC
When entering plus signs in a search string, for example

+cat +dog

the result was: "Internal error: no valid response from search server (10.0.0.17)"
Unfortunately (in a way), it did not always occur.
Comment 1 Filip Maljkovic [Dungodung] 2005-11-05 20:27:47 UTC
It didn't occur always because the two are unrelated. The server error was a
Wikimedia glitch, I suppose.
Comment 2 Arie ten Cate 2005-11-06 10:45:40 UTC
Yes, I'm sure you are right. However, I could reproduce this message with the
first try, the next morning. With the plus signs. I will keep testing, with and
without plus signs, so as to get some idea about its nature.
(I suppose you can count the occurrences of this message, in your log files?)

Glad to be of any help,

   Arie
Comment 3 Arie ten Cate 2005-11-06 12:09:38 UTC
I just tested again, with new search words (+new +olde) and with temp internet
files deleted from my pc. I got the internal message error again.
Time = 12.58 h at Netherlands time; ten minutes before I commited this comment.

Unrelated; that server's a bit flaky is all.
