Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Jan Kucera (Kozuch) 2012-07-29 08:49:16 UTC
Show file annotations on wikis that stream media from Commons too. For instance, a Commons image that is on EN.wikipedia article - show ("stream") annotations on Wikipedia image page (the page between article and Commons).

You might be looking for #3 at [[commons:Help:Gadget-ImageAnnotator#Frequently_asked_questions]] ("Can we run the ImageAnnotator script in Wikipedias in order to see annotations there?")

comment #1 seems to answer this pretty well.

Have a local sysop set up the gadget wherever you'd like it.

Unless you want it done globally and unilaterally. Is there some simple config variable to flip for this? or this would need coding and deployment first (outside the config repo)?

That more extensive work (beyond just flipping a config value) is not be suitable for the "site requests" component.

Anyway, this is already possible so -> WORKSFORME for now.
