Description chrkipping 2012-05-03 18:17:14 UTC
Hallo,

thank you for developing MathJax for Wikipedia. In the german Wikipedia we found some bugs in MathJax displaying some mathematical symbols.
*The Symbol "<" is shown as < with a black box around it.
*The Symbol ">" is shown as > with a black box around it.
*And the code "\&" is shown as & without a blackbox.

At my pc with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 9 the code "\N \R \C" is shown as "\N \R \C", but \mathbb{N} \mathbb{R} \mathbb{C} is rendered correctly. Other people from german Wikipedia don't have problems with that code. Then I use Firefox 12 to open a page with one of the symbols "\N \R \C" it crashs.

At the german Wikipedia you can find at
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_Diskussion:Mathematik#‎Mathjax wird getestet!
a discussion about bugs in Math Jax.

Some changes in my vector.js helped to fix the last problem. The string <math>\N \Z \R \C</math> is shown correctly, but the code <math>\Q</math> can not be rendered. And now "\&" is shown as & with a back box around it.
