Currently Narayam extension using Avro phonetic layout for Bangla input method. But the script has lots of error. error will be pointed out here, please take necessary steps to resolve the error. Please use the script at the link, that is currently using at bnwikipedia for Avro Keyboard layout: http://bit.ly/IkMmeM The script has also error, but that is much better than script in Narayam using currently.
Could you be please specific? What kind of errors you observed? The Avro rules of the script and Narayam extension is mostly same because Narayam is written reusing many of existing rules file. And written by same person.

Yes the script is written by same person, but I think Narayam using the initial script, that missing lots of rules that he added later with consulting some user at bnwikipedia. Narayam missing the diacritic form of the vowels. For example, ক + া = কা For reference please see, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengali_alphabet#Description_of_Bengali_glyphs But in bnwikipedia script the rules are exists. So I would like to request to replace the Narayam Avro script with the bnwikipedia Avro script.
Created attachment 10463 [details] The diff from existing Bengali Avro rules in Narayam to rules on Bengali Wikipedia There are considerable changes on diff (see patch), I don't remember though.
Now the layout working better than previous, Please add the rule, (vowel)+rri = vowel+ৃ example, দ+rri=দৃ but only, rri = ঋ I don't know why, the rule is working in bnwikipedia but not in Narayam. Please resolve this.

During developing time lots of chat and mailing with Junaid, Ragib, Belayet we got the tools https://toolserver.org/~junaid/transliteration/, but it was not thoroughly checked by frequent user, so there may be some bug. So lets do as mention in this bug title. I don't this place is a right place to discuss all rule related bug or not. দ+rri=দৃ is working fine at bnwiki, but not at translatewiki.net or Narayam. kee=কী is not working at bnwiki, but works fine at translatewiki.net or Narayam.
I have a fix for the "দ+rri=দৃ" problem, but Gerrit is giving me weird issues. Are there any more issues except this one?
Fix in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/9522/ .
My change is now enabled at https://sandbox.translatewiki.net/wiki/User:Amire80 for testing. Please test and tell me whether it works correctly and whether any more changes are needed.

Gerrit change #9522 merged based on comment 9. Thanks for testing.
Thank you for testing, Belayet. I enabled it on the main live https://translatewiki.net/ website . you are welcome to test it there some more. If everything is fine, it will be enabled on bn.wikipedia.org in a few days.
Assuming everything is fine, if there is no feedback in by Friday (this is a collaboratively written response).
This will probably be enabled in the next i18n deployment.
