1) Go to
https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Extension_talk:LiquidThreads&lqt_method=talkpage_new_thread
and type some "text" on edit box.

2) Click preview. It will show a spinner and once the preview is complete, it will be removed
3) Click preview again. There will be TWO spinners, and the extension will submit TWO requests, and each spinner will be removed once one of the requests is finished.

There should be only one spinner and only one request each time someone click the preview button.

Google Chrome 17.0.963.83 shows something like this for each request:
