Description User:Zoe 2005-09-15 06:55:04 UTC
The way that edit conflicts are handled has changed. Now, when I encounter an
edit conflict, instead of getting a page which says that there has been an edit
conflict and a Cancel link to resubmit my changes, instead I get an edit link.
When I click on this link, though, the resulting edit is for the first section
of the page, not for the section of the page where I encountered the edit conflict.

That doesn't sound familiar, and I can't reproduce it on my test wiki (I get an edit
conflict screen as traditionally); can you take a screen shot of this link?

Erm. Um, yeah, the next time I get an edit conflict. :) Zoe.

You should be able to create an edit conflict artificially by using two
different browsers, one logged in and one not (you can't conflict with
yourself). Alternatively, start editting the sandbox and leave it un-submitted
for a while - chances are, someone will come along and edit it...

Been over a month; closing this as WORKSFORME. If still encountering, please send
more info and we'll try and figure it out...
