The same occurs when a page is moved, User:Thehelpfulone/test was moved to User:Theheplfulone/test2 by Hoo per my request.

Also of note is that when the page above was moved, I asked Hoo to make an edit, http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3AThehelpfulone%2Ftest2&action=historysubmit&diff=3296381&oldid=3296370, and another one http://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User%3AThehelpfulone%2Ftest2&action=historysubmit&diff=3296401&oldid=3296381 these edits did not come through as an email, even though the new page /test2 is still on my watchlist.
