In Odiya and Devanagari (hi,sa,mr,ne), any diacritic mark above the characters or the part of the character that appears above the top line is cut off in Page title alone for lohit. They appear fine when appearing in body text. This happens only in page title. (In IE, FF and Chrome in XP SP2)

I have attached the screenshot for odiya. the word there is the odiya equivalent of "wikipedia" . it should have three half circle/curved line type marking above in the middle characters. But their middle point gets cut off and they appear as two dots instead. Similar thing happens for devanagari, for loops above the top line, the top portion gets cut off.

Not sure if this is a web font issue. We've done some CSS fixes for the marks *below* the line in titles recently for a bunch of Indic languages[1]. We'll discuss this in our next daily meeting, and see what can be done about it.

Thanks, this is not webfonts issue, a the CSS for the vector skins need some tuning to increase the line height of titles. Duplicate of Bug 32826
