Description jmouka 2011-10-30 03:07:00 UTC long text inside a pre tag doesn't wrap and makes a long, one line high line that forces a long horizontal scrollbar. tested in safari 5.1.1 and firefox 7.0.1 on mac os x 10.6. example page is http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Active_learning&action=submit possible fix is to make the pre tag's style white-space:pre-wrap Comment 1 jmouka 2011-10-30 03:37:09 UTC the example page has been fixed for formatting. this older version should still have the issue: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Active_learning&oldid=457321008 or simply create a test page and add a long line of text with leading spaces, to force the pre tag.
